The Mason Chamber Music Festival was created to provide opportunities for Central Texas Hill Country residents and visitors to have access and exposure to professional-level performances of chamber music in Mason, Texas.
Bringing high caliber artists for an extraordinary weekend of chamber music provided by, and in support of, The Odeon Preservation Association and Mason’s Odeon Theater allows Mason and the Central Texas Hill Country visitors to revel in the magic of works by classical composers while enjoying the unique atmosphere and charm of magical Mason!
The Odeon Theater, built on Mason’s Courthouse Square in 1928, is the longest continually operated theater in west Texas and is in a National Historic Register District. Not only is it a movie theater (Disney’s Old Yeller had its premiere showing at the Odeon as Mason is the hometown of its author, Fred Gipson), but it is a live performance venue year-round.
We invite all who delight in chamber music, and those who are experiencing it for the first time, to attend our Annual Mason Chamber Music Festival and support the Arts in the beautiful Central Texas Hill Country!
In appreciation of your tax deductible donation to MCMF we will list all donor’s names in our Programs and thank all donors at curtain time at The Odeon Theater. Gifts in kind and volunteer hours will also be recognized. Mason Chamber Music Festival operates under the umbrella of the Odeon Preservation Association and is a 501(c)3 non -profit organization.
